Hi, I’m Amanda — founder and principal designer of Details + Design, but also a mom, traveler, and forever student of all things creative.

My path to interior design wasn’t a straight line. I started in fashion, interning at Donna Karan and launching a shoe collection with Vince Camuto before discovering my real passion: creating spaces that feel as good as they look. In 2018, I took the leap and opened Details + Design with a vision of blending timeless East Coast character with a relaxed West Coast sensibility.

Design, to me, is about the details — the textures you want to reach out and touch, the colors that calm or inspire, the pieces that tell your story. I love natural materials, layered patterns, and creating homes that feel collected, comfortable, and uniquely personal.

This blog is where I share more of my world — the behind-the-scenes of projects, the inspiration I find in travel and everyday life, and the little lessons I’ve learned along the way as a designer, entrepreneur, and creative.
